I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but two of the schools that have accepted me (the only 2 out of my 11 I have heard back from) thus far have scheduled open house visits on the same weekend.

They are both about equal in my mind, one I'm a little more familiar with: UT-Austin, and the other less so: Boston U.

If I learn of other acceptances, this choice would be easier, as I'd be able to use process of elimination based on location(e.g. acceptance into MIT would trump BU as both are in Boston, and I'd visit UTA). However, I haven't heard from anywhere else and I MUST RSVP to BU by Jan 23rd.

It's not necessarily a bad problem to have. However, I can't make my decision fairly if I don't see both schools. I'm sure I can visit at another time, but I won't see everything that is meant to be seen for a visiting prospective student.

Call the administrator and let her know that you may have a conflict. I did this when this situation arose for me and they had an interview weekend that hadn’t been opened up yet. I was able to attend both interviews that way.

I agree with Belevitt- go to both if you can, to get the full picture; but if an alternative is not possible… from your previous posts you seem to be applying to BE programs? I do research in a BE lab at MIT, and this is solely my opinion, based on the reputation that scientists around me have given to the field. BU is known to be a stellar school for BE/BME, while I have never heard of the same department at UT-Austin. If I were you and HAD to choose, I would choose BU based on that limited knowledge which I just demonstrated…
