What is the point? Is it a meet and greet? A grown-up function where wine and hors d'oeuvres are passed? An activities fair for DS to meet other students and learn about organizations? Will there be a giant receiving line?

This will be our first visit on campus. We don't know much about Notre Dame (other than what we saw in the movie "Rudy") and I'd like to make our efforts worthwhile. Should DS have questions ready and try to seek out profs from his department of interest?

We're flying up Thursday with our son because he saw this on the calendar. (He is also visiting with an admissions counselor Friday, but we're arriving the night before anyway.)

Well idk about admitted students day (didnt get admitted, ha), but if your going up this weekend you should check out the Blue/Gold Spring football game festivities. I take it your not a ND football fan, go to the game on Saturday at 2 and youll see (kinda) what its all about.

The campus is beautiful. You’ll have an awesome time. Its a special place, truly.

If you are going to be there overnight I strongly recommend having your son stay Thursday night with a current student. It really gives you an idea of what it’s like to go to notre dame.

If you don’t know any current students contact ND and they will set it up for you. I did and that experience sealed the deal for me.
