<p>I'm traveling to a college for their open house this weekend, and was wondering about getting an interview. Should I schedule one for the weekend, and speaking of scheduling how do I schedule one in the first place?</p>

<p>All of the admissions representatives are most likely going to have their hands completely full with open house activities and won’t have time for an interview. It doesn’t hurt to ask, but don’t expect anyone to have any time.</p>
<p>To schedule an interview, start by going to the college’s admissions website and see if they have a “Staff” page where they list the admissions staff members and what territory they’re responsible for. In the best case you can find your high school or geographic area listed and associated with a specific staff member. Email or call that person. If you can’t get that much detailed information on the website, call the admissions office and ask about having an interview.</p>
