<p>I just got an email inviting me to the Open House Program. Has anyone ever gone to one of these? Is it helpful? I've already visited Wake, so I don't want to this to be a redundant visit. </p>

<p>I'm assuming you're a junior. Was the open house program a discovery day? I went to one of those and I had already visited. Those programs are helpful because you get to meet other kids who are applying and that is not only fun, but it is a good view of the school. I would recommend visiting as many times as you would like. I've done 2 overnights and they were both very different. I came away from the first one with very negative thoughts about Wake, but the second was the opposite. So visits vary and I would say take all the opportunities to get a feel for the colleges you are applying to.</p>
