Open House

For both current and future hoyas...

I was accepted Early Action to SFS and was planning on attending the open house exclusively for early students at the end of March (had RSVPed). I was recently notified of my finalist standing for a scholarship at WashU and the weekend competition is the same week as the open house. I changed my reservation to the one in April but was wondering:

1) Is there much difference between the two open houses? Will I miss anything by not being there in March?

2) Does GU (unofficially) try to match extremely generous aid from other (higher-ranked) universities? Especially for early action students?

For what it's worth, I love SFS and if had the money, would have sent in the deposit long long ago.

Any thoughts?
I hate having to miss out on the one in March.

Don’t worry about missing the EA weekend. I help out with GAAP and the schedule is pretty much identical. Go to the one that works best for your schedule. The school offers that weekend so that students can come see Georgetown before RD applications results are in. You will have a great time at either. Good luck! and if you have any questions let me know.

All GAAP weekends are about the same. You may even like April better as the weather will be nice. Georgetown doesn’t match aid, ever, so no dice on that I’m afraid.
