Open if Applying to Ross via Pre-Admit or Regular Admission (as a Umich freshman)

I used to work with Admissions at Ross and I’ve helped hundreds of students gain admittance to Ross. Feel free to post questions below or message me.

There are many Ross rumors floating around this forum. Stick with the facts. Here are a few to get you started:

Ross “Pre-Admit Admission” Rate: 11%. Pre-admits = roughly 1/5 of entire Ross class (4/5 of class = those applying via “Regular Admission” during freshman year at Umich. See below for Regular Admission rate). As a high school senior: after you are accepted to U of M, Ross Admissions Officers conduct their own, independent, holistic review of an application. All parts of the application are crucial - GPA, curriculum, test scores, essays, activities, etc.

Ross “Regular Admission” Rate (Class of 2018): 37%. If you are applying as a Umich freshman, the entire application is extremely important. Each year, Ross turns down students who have 4.0 GPAs. Take the process extremely seriously.

Good luck everyone!
