I am aware how unlikely this is. It’s probably not even a route I will pursue, but since my parents and I are thinking about it I thought I’d see if anyone knew of boarding schools with openings for this coming school year.
High-academic preferable, but I realize at this point there’s not much left in that department.
you would need to start calling schools (today!) with rolling admissions and ask if they have any openings and if you can still apply. You can search for schools on boarding school review:
I continue to get email from several boarding schools in the south saying they have spots for this year. I wish I could recall which ones but I would think that the chances getting a spot at one of the schools with about 20% acceptance rates would be 0%.
If you are a strong player and willing to continue, don’t forget to also call the coaches.
