<p>Hi.</p>

<p>I know that "Louisiana Tech is designated as a Tier 1 national university by the 2013 U.S. News & World Report college rankings and is the only Tier 1 national university in the nine-member University of Louisiana System." (LSU</a>, Southern rankings fall | Home | The Advocate ? Baton Rouge, LA)</p>

<p>So, what I am looking for is a "first hand" opinion of campus life.</p>

<p>Would anyone who attended LATech or knows someone who has, please write back with their opinion? </p>

<p>We visited the campus and it seemed like a nice quiet place where a student would not have too many distractions. </p>

<p>We were curious about LaTech, too. We took a look at the list of employers who come to LaTech to recruit Mechanical Engineers and Biomedical Engineers. Seems like the school does get attention from some good employers.</p>

<p>I will be starting at LA in Fall, and really wish more people will post opinions here. My parents went to this school 30 years ago and all I know about it is what they say…from 30 years ago… </p>
