Opinion on RD college choices...

For some time, I've been trying to find another college that I can fall in love with just in case I'm faced with some very unhappy news on December 15th. So? I'd like a few opinions/suggestions if anyone can offer. :)

I'm going for pre-vet and I'd like to major in animal sciences, however I'm fairly flexibile with that... the sad thing is that Cornell is absolutely perfect for this, but alternatively I've been considering Tufts U, Colgate U and UConn... Brandeis piqued my interests as well. Binghamton is an I-really-don't-want-to-go-there backup. I had a few smaller colleges/universities on my list, but honestly... does anyone have suggestions as to a good Cornell-level (or close to?) college/university for prevet?

I think that Cornell should just accept me, as I'm nothing short of obsessed. =P

maybe Upenn school of vet medicine?

UC Davis? (dunno if this is on the same level as cornell in your view)

don't worry..i'm in the same position you are in. i still havent decided where i want to go if i get rejected by cornell.. im looking for a good pre-med education also :(

The only reason I'm avoiding the UC schools is that they're on the other side of the country from me, and that makes it hard to get home for holidays and whatnot. =P I looked at UPenn, actually... forgot to add that one. I'm interested, but... hm.

Let's hope we both get in and don't have to worry about this? ;_;

"I-really-don't-want-to-go-there backup"

Don't apply to somewhere that you don't want to go, even if it is a safety. I'm sure you can find a safety that you are content with. This is your life for the next few years!

Well, no matter what I plan on attempting a transfer to Cornell. ;) Unless I'm incredibly content where I find myself... Binghamton is a wonderful school, I just don't like the area is all.
