please chance me

Hey Ivan!

I
d say all these schools are reaches for you. Why don
t you consider regiving the SAT? That might just give you an edge. Plus try building on your ECs

Chance me back? <a href=“Chances for getting into Harvard, Stanford, Berkeley, Penn etc. - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1710896-chances-for-getting-into-harvard-stanford-berkeley-penn-etc-p1.html</a></p>

Retaking SAT is pointless.

All your schools are reaches for everyone in the US(Cornell may be arguably easier than others relatively). Are you applying there just because “they are good schools”? You are making a huge mistake, then.

Also, taking math 1 AND math 2 are completely pointless. It seems you didn’t do any researches, and applying randomly to big names. MIT and caltech specifically require one science and one math(caltech wants math 2 test), and even those that don’t put such specific requirements will seriously think you didn’t even bother to look up their websites. Therefore, unless you take subject test on science, you are not even eligible for applying to caltech and MIT.

Do you have any safeties? Can you full pay? If you can’t, how much can you pay per year?

@Ivan95 - What do you mean by “Currently I attend one faculty in Croatia”? If you mean you are currently attending university in Croatia, it’s likely that you may have to apply as a transfer applicant rather than a freshman.

As Paul said, your SAT is fine, and the Math 1 score is pointless when you have a Math 2 score. Some of these schools will require you to take a second subject test (Chemistry or Physics would be the best choice). If you’re applying this year as a freshman, it’s probably too late for some of these schools, but others will accept January results.

It’s really difficult to get into any of these schools as an international - and unless you are a top scholar (which means international awards), your scores will only server to convince them to take a closer look at your application. Among other factors, they will examine will be your ability to express yourself in written English, and your initial post on this thread shows surprisingly poor grammar for someone with such high SAT scores.

To be honest, I think it’s highly unlikely that any of these 12 schools will accept you, unless you can get recruited for the ski team. Take a look at this list, many of the non-Ivy Division I programs do offer athletic scholarships for skiers:

<a href=“List of NCAA skiing programs - Wikipedia”>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NCAA_skiing_programs</a></p>

If you’re a nationally ranked skier, being from Croatia will definitely get you noticed by ski coaches

If you don’t need financial aid, there are certainly hundreds of colleges in the USA that would accept you, it’s just unlikely that any the schools on your list will be among them.
