I had no choice but to drop my Chem class the second time due to medical reasons. I was not able to attend class and the policy of attendance forced me to drop the class receiving a “W”. The first time I dropped that class was to due to work. I am not required to take this class although I took it just for fun. I will be applying to UC’s this fall. Would it affect my application negativity?
Not if you explain why you had the W. Policies vary, but most schools ignore W.
