If I want to pursue math stuff, how does this look for my senior year courseload?
AP European History
Choir
Linear Algebra (sem 1) [through Kent State]
Java Programming (sem 2) [through Kent State]
AP Physics C Mechanics and E&M
Honors English IV
Multivariable Calculus
I would say it looks really good!!!
Looks really good! Hopefully you got to Level 4 of a foreign language in your Junior year? If so, then your Senior year schedule is nearly perfect. If not, then consider the (minor) disadvantage of reaching only Level 3 of foreign language when applying to the very top schools…
I only took 3 years of latin, but I absolutely hate latin and don’t want to waste my time on a subject that doesn’t matter to me. Is it really that significant to colleges? I plan on taking German classes in college because they weren’t offered at my school.
Depends on the colleges you’re looking at, but most are fine with 3 years of a language. Check with specific colleges.
looks good but here’s a tip: if you took WHAP and did well, you could try to self study EHAP and do well on the AP exam and take a study hall or something cause depending on your courseload, i’d say thats a bit much considering you need to do college apps as well.
The most competitive colleges like to see level4or ap in a foreign language, but your schedule is consistent and if you’re aiming for super competitive colleges you could always take latin3 at kent state over the summer (don’t know of they have it for the summer but college level 3= high school level4, and b done forever.) Not necessary though.
