<p>How do you guys think Stanford feels about inputting why you want to go there in one of the four essays? Good/bad/don't know? Just wondering, thanks in advance!</p>
<p>I'd avoid it probably. If you have a particular intellectual interest related to a Stanford prof, you could mention that. But otherwise I'd just talk about your passion for sports, research, etc. and let the adcoms make the connection that this is an area where Stanford is strong.</p>
