I have heard a rumor that the food is really good at Colby and I'd like to know if this is true, and if so, why students feel that way?

I am looking at a few other schools but in particular when I hear that there are complaints about the food I admit it kind of puts me off a place. Sometimes I hear that the food is just not that great, or there are not that many options, or even that the dining hall hours and bad crowd management can leave students without adequate time to get meals around their classes and activities.

What's the food situation really like at Colby? What are the off-campus or delivery options for those times when you miss dinner or something?

My daughter is a rising Junior and thinks the food is very good. There are three dining halls, which is a lot for a school the size of
Colby. She likes the food because there is a lot of variety and it is healthy. But her favorite is the buff chick quesadillas at the Spa!

I am a parent. The food is GREAT. There may be food which is equal at other schools, but none better. Also, if you like fabulous Vegan and ethnic dishes, they always have something somewhere on campus, every night.

I visited during the experience colby thing at the beginning of this month, and the food was very good. There’s so many options, and three different dining halls!
