Opinions on these Courses? (Gen. Ed, Painting, French, Public Speaking)

Painting 1 (FA 105) (Margit Omar)
Public Speaking (COMM 204) (Michael Wissot)
French 2 (FREN 150) (Lucille Toth) (Carol Hofmann)
French 3 (FREN 220) (James Rowlins) (Carol Hofmann)

Thinking of taking these courses and wondering what peoples' opinions on the courses/professors have been. Thank you!

I believe Carol Hofmann is the French department head and doesn’t actually teach any of the French 2/3 classes. As a class, I found French 2 and 3 to be pretty similar to the high school levels of French 2 and 3. If you’ve taken French in HS, then it shouldn’t be too difficult. They are mainly grammar classes. However, if you started taking French at USC, they can be pretty fast paced.

I took French in high school and French 2 at a two-year college this semester, but the credits transfer to USC as French 1.
This doesn’t difficult at all then, thank you!:)

I heard Painting I is really fun  Go on ratemyprofessor.com to check the professors out!
Good luck!
