Opinions Please!

Hi everyone! Well, I am completely confused on where I should apply and need some opinions. I would really like to attend Washington University in St. Louis, but I feel it would be a big reach. Please give me some opinions about my chances at schools such as Washington, Vanderbilt, USC, UCLA, and Berkeley. Ivies are probably too big of a reach.

Anyone? ):

UC’s you are in. All you have to do is look at UC Stat Finder and you will know your exact chances there. But being ELC and having a high GPA is good. SAT’s could use some improvement. But your chances at UCLA and Cal are very good.

USC- high match (your scores are on the weaker compared to USC’s ranges, but not horrible)

Vanderbilt, Washington-- I’d say reaches (SATs are low for these schools, you need to strengthen your EC’s a tad bit) but still could happen

I would appreciate it if you chanced me back :)

I have a much different opinion. I think you have a great shot at getting into usc, but i think all the others are big reaches. You’re SAT scores seem much to low for your high gpa. Plus, when UC calculates your UC gpa, only A-G courses are included, so it will probably go down a lot. You do have decent extra curriculars, but they seem to be a bit unfocused. I would say definitely retake the SAT or try the ACT. My overall assessment:

USC-match
UCLA-reach
Berkeley-high reach
Vanderbilt-high reach
WUSL-high reach

Best of luck!

I’d say each of your schools is at least a low reach…but i’ll bet you get into at least a few…
