<p>Hi wanted to know my chances at some of these universities.
White Male, New York</p>

<p>GPA-3.5-3.6 UW
Most rigorous Courses offered (7 AP, 2 H, and 2 Accelerated)
SAT(needs improvement) 620 CR, 600 M, 640 W.
EC's: LAcrosse for 8 years, 2 yrs JV, 2 yrs V.
FBLA 3 years
Band: 8 years, 4 years in HS
Eagle Scout (Plenty of volunteer work, and organized my own community service prject)
School Government Office 2 years
Job for 2 years (Movie Theater)
100+hours of volunteer time</p>

<p>I have my sights set on very selective schools and i feel most are out of my reach:
SUNY Binghamton
Northeastern
Penn State
U. of Maryland
Villanova
George Washington U.
U. of Michigan
Boston University
Lehigh
UNC Chapel Hill</p>

<p>The last few are very big reaches and any input on my chances, possible improvements, or other recommended schools (major in business) would be appreciated.</p>

<p>I just got back from my BU orientation and based on what I heard about everyone else, I think you might have a good chance of getting into BU, in their CGS if nothing else. Definitely take the SATs again and definitely work hard this coming semester to try and bring your senior midyear transcript GPA up to the 3.6-3.8 range.</p>
