Optimal time to start studying for the SAT?

Hello everyone! I was just wondering what was the best time to start studying for the SAT. I am a rising sophomore, and school starts Sept 6th. This is probably a really stupid question...should I just start now?

yep! as soon as possible.
I think it’s best for rising sophomores to prepare for sat.
u know what, in Korea and China, students in grade 6-7 start studying sat so that they have enough time to improve their scores.

It is probably good to start studying on your own during sophomore year. I wish I had started earlier. And if you start studying now, you have a better chance of doing well on your junior year PSAT and getting national merit semi-finalist.

Probably right as you are entering your junior year. That’s the golden time to be studying.

The best time to start can range from a few weeks to a couple of months before the test. It doesn’t hurt to start as soon as possible, just make sure you don’t over-stress about it. After all, it’s only an admissions test, and it hardly means a thing once you enter college (although doing well on PSAT can lead to some decent scholarships).
