I was told by a student representative on the phone that at orientation I could take a test for Spanish and if I did well enough on it that I could receive the credits for the class and not take them. She said she had done this with French when she was a freshman. When could I do this?

YES YES YES. You can test out of a language. You can test out of lower level math. I will post some links.

You can test out of lower level classes to start at a higher level. Given at FSU, no credit for testing out of classes.

There is math testing that FSU gives via the math department that helps place you in upper classes but no credit.

I do not know how much of this you can do AT ORIENTATION however. Call and find out.
