So for Option B on the application which allows me to submit a graded paper/essay as my supplement, it says the maximum file size is 500 KB. However, my paper plus the grading rubric is 14 pages, and amounts to 2.7 MB when I scanned and optimized it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make the file size smaller? I really feel that this paper would be a great submission. It has to be in .pdf, .doc, .docx, .rtf, or .txt. Thanks!
You can contact admissions and ask if you can submit it separately by email.
My daughter (who is now a freshman) had trouble uploading her paper last year. She emailed the essay as an attachment to Admissions along with an email explaining what had happened. It worked out so don’t worry. If you think it’s a choice paper, you are probably right.
I had the same problem so I ended up just sending it in as a hard copy and it seemed to work for me.
