Optional Arts form- to submit or not to submit?

Hi folks!
So...I have a passion for writing, and I was hoping to exhibit that through the Optional Arts Form. However, the problem is, I've got more solid achievements in journalism than creative writing. Still, I've got a runner's up prize in a national short story writing competition (story got published in a book) and I've written a few screenplays, several short stories, etc.

So do you think it would be worth it for me to submit the Optional Arts Form, if I'm confident my writing's good enough? Or does a lack of accolades and a substantial resume make is pointless to do so?

Thanks in advance =D

Bump…really frustrated here, so your help would be genuinely appreciated.

I don’t think it could hurt your application

I would submit the Optional Arts form (: Even if you haven’t won 230948 awards for your creative writing, as long as you’re confident in your abilities, I am sure the Admissions Office will look favorably upon your application.

Thanks a lot guys =D
