don’t ever do it. borrow it from the library or a friend.

@astrina

Does the library generally have most of the study guides and solution manuals? And how long can we borrow the books for in one time?

My brother (who goes to UCSB) says their library has all the textbooks. I believe i read that you can borrow books for 3 hours so i’m not going to buy any optional books. I’m also going to skip required books like solution manuals.

^You can check textbooks out for 3 hours at a time, but as long as nobody is waiting for one, you can continue to recheck it out.

^Do you have to stay in the library to use them or can you check them out and leave with them too?

^You can leave.

How hard is it to check out books? Can i get through most classes just by borrowing?

^Ummmmmmmmmmm. I don’t really know. It depends. If it’s a book you’re plan to use a lot or if it’s a class in a series where you’ll need the book again, buy it online and sell it back online. You can probably almost get all your money back that way. If you think “Well I’ll rarely use this book” then check it out at the library.

Would there ever be a time where i cannot check the book out? Are there usually plenty of them?

Oh so only three hours at once? I guess that’s good.

Same, i’m fine with 3 hours. I’m just scared it wont be available when i need it

uh, how much of a solutions manual could you possibly use?

i could use my camera to scan the entire book in under 20 minutes, i don’t know why you’re fretting about three hours …

Sorry, i meant for an actual textbook. Not a solution manual
