<p>Optional would imply that it is not necessary. Because it is optional, it would be disingenuous to hold it against you if you didn't write it. So I guess you have to ask yourself, "How disingenuous is the admissions office?"</p>

im not that great at writing essays....nd i dont think this optional essay will help me in getting in....it mite even hurt me by showing my bad skills at writing :S.... so i dunno wut to do...</p>
