Optional Information - To do or not to do?

When an application gives you space (250 words) to tell them about anything else (optional), is it worth doing it? Does it give any benefits or hurt the applicant?

I really don't feel the need to write anything else, but if it helps, I wouldn't mind writing it.

Well. Why would it hurt :)? Right? It doesn’t. I would say the purpose is to allow the applicants to identity who they think they are(to the admission staff) concisely. Note that it’s 250 words only.

If you are not confident about writing it, then don’t. So what if your description is a piece of bulk?? As long as grammar and spelling aren’t issues, it doesn’t hurt.

Fill it out by all means, if you have something to say. Don’t just put what you did. Write something you think is “unique enough”. Don’t boast about your achievement either.

The rules are: make sure grammar and spellings aren’t issues, and please avoid duplication :)
