Optional Letters Of Rec

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I applied REA, but my optional letter of rec had only my name and school identified (not with common app id # or birth date) (although there is no one else from my school with the same name as me). Stanford's axess e-mail said that they don't give status reports on optional materials, as well as asking applicants not to call or e-mail them about specific credentials and whether they received them or not. Is there a way I can verify if they have matched the letter to my app? Or should I send a second copy to them w/ the common app id, mailing label, etc. And if I did, should I send it now, or wait until the Nov. 17 date when everyone else is re-sending in missing parts of the app. Do you think they would get angry if I called them anyway? Suggestions :(?</p>

Even though I’m sure they do their jobs well, it’d be nice just to cover all bases (for my sake, at least, so I don’t have to stress over it XD)</p>
