<p>Just saw this year's optional response 2011-2012</a> Essay Questions - Office of Undergraduate Admissions - Tufts University what happened to do something on an 8 1/2 by 11 paper and send it to us. My daughter (who plans on applying in the fall) has been planning her blank paper idea for a year now - is it gone???</p>
<p>I believe there’s pretty much a 100% turnover in optional questions. (Though the video option looks unchanged.)</p>
<p>I’m certainly not an admissions counselor by ANY means, but if it’s planned, why not send it in and give it a go? I’m sure Tufts wouldn’t just toss it away. Everyone likes some creativity

<p>She should make a video presenting the piece of paper… that way she’ll still get to do what she wants but it’ll be within the prompt. Plus it shows that you’ve been planning your application/wanting to go there for a long time!</p>
