HI!

I was accepted to Boston College through the program listed in the title.

I was wondering are there any students on CC that have experience with this program.

I also got into JHU and I am applying for better aid. However from what I have read, this program comes close to a full ride.

Anyone care to provide insight?

Thanks!

My daughter will be a senior next. She is presently in England studying abroad. She is in the OTE program. Yes they do give FA according to need. There are monies that you and your family will be responsible for, but its doable. the hardest part for her was beginning in the summer. She had a ball though ,and has not regreted it at all.

It’s a great program and is meant to prepare students who need additional academic preparation before starting the school year. They do have high expectations and at times it’s not what you would like to do with your summer. However, most people find it very valuable and integral to being ready for the college rigor. Also, you form relationships with a great group of people before any other BC student has a chance to. They do this to boost students social support, which contributes to the likelihood that you will stay in school and graduate.
