Options with less than ideal work experience

I am considering grad schools (I am interested in getting a masters of science in marketing research) but my work experience is more administrative in nature, but I am stronger in other areas. Any insight in what I can realistically expect in terms of who would accept/deny me?

Gmat 590
Gpa 3.0
Letters of reccomendation aren't an issue (professional, not acaemdic as my professors wouldn't remember me)
I also recently completed a comprehensive grad level certificate course related to market research, which is offered through the University of GA (didn't do too well but still passed the class).

There are some schools with a market research program that I am interested in with the Gmat average around 510-530 (Hofstra, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville).

thanks
