Discuss your options thus far.

I'm in: Columbia, NYU, UCI
Pending: Stanford, UCLA, Cal, Georgetown, GWU
I'm out: Michigan

I'm in: nowhere!
Pending: UCLA, Cal
I'm out: nowhere!

So my options are UCLA, Cal and Europe. Not sure which one I'm looking forward to most. :>

I'm in: UCSB, UCI, UCSC
Pending: UCLA, Berkeley
I'm out: Nowhere ... yet.

Cal is definitely my first choice. If I get in there, I'm submitting my SIR pretty much instantly. If I get rejected by Cal, May is going to be a long month.

UCLA, UCSB, and UCI each have about an equal number of pros and cons for me. (The biggest con LA has going against it is I kind of hate that part of Southern California.) UCSB is quickly ascending the ranks academically and I'm planning on applying to its department of religious studies as a graduate student (it actually has one of the stronger programs in that area). UCI has a few excellent departments that are interesting for a future seminary student (Classics, Philosophy, and so forth). Finally, at this point, I've kind of ruled out UCSC (I applied that campus largely to ensure a choice of at least two campuses once the admissions dust settled.)

ictanti, how did you get accepted into columbia and rejected from michigan? -_-

transferobsessed, in another thread of mine, somebody said that they heard the decision will be given at the end of May. But I think it will be faster (i wish), because I think most of the freshman applicants got their decisions and now it's our turn, isn't it?
