Is this a difficult major to get into and what are some undergrads that have an optometry major? Thanks in advance! :)

While I don’t really know anything about optometry schools, I do know that Google should answer both of these questions for you just fine. Here’s a start:

[A List Of Optometry Schools | OptometryStudents.com](http://optometrystudents.com/a-list-of-optometry-schools/)

[List of Optometry Schools Across the United States](http://www.eyehealthweb.com/professions/optometry-schools-list.html)

You can also try Student Doctor Network. There are optometry forums on there, and chances are there are already some threads/discussions regarding schools and how competitive it is to get into them. Good luck.

Utter trash, don’t bother. Major in something useful that will get you a job in case you apply to optometry school and don’t get in or you decide optometry school isn’t for you.

I can see a pharmacology BS before pharmacy school and a biochemistry degree before MD school, etc. because those degrees offer their own research careers if someone doesn’t like clinical work, but what would be the point of majoring in optometry as an undergrad?
