I'm applying rd, but i also applied to the Emory Scholars Program (even though i highly doubt ill get it) so i sent in my emory supplement and fee online (two weeks ago), but turned in the common app, teacher, recs, counselor, essay in on paper together (ten days ago). i tried to register on OPUS with my bday and ssn but it says they dont have an id for that person. how do i obtain a network id so i can check my application status, especially since it was sent in various ways.

Have you already received a letter from Emory that says they received your application and tells you how to register on Opus?

no, does that come first or are you expected to just do it after you've sent your app for awhile?

That came first for me. I would wait till yu get the letter. Once you do, that probably means most of your application has been processed. If all of those things are still missing after a week or two and you still haven't received the letter, I would then contact the office of admissions.

i received the letter yay! but the only thing that it says is complete are my test scores, everything else is initiated does that mean they just havent processed it yet?

most likely. Wait about a week and if it still says that email the admissions office.

aem08 -- My daughter's website says the same thing--test scores are complete, everything else is initiated, even though the letter says her application has been received. I guess the website just isn't up to speed.

Hey everyone. For me, basically everything for Emory was "Completed" except for the ED Agreement Form ("Initiated"), which was strange because my counselor turned that in along with my transcript and her letter. I emailed the admissions office yesterday telling them this and they replied this morning saying they actually have my ED Agreement form and that it was just a mistake in the system. She also said they would try to fix it right away.

I think either this will get updated for you later or it mught just be a mistake like it was for me. In any case, you should email admissions asking them for help.

Hope that helped!

anybody else applying for Scholars/RD still have a lot of "initiated" items on OPUS? I think I had 7...I emailed the admission office last week but they just sent a generic response that they were too busy to do anything at the current moment...
