OPUS Changes

I guess its worth checking OPUS for changes that may provide a hint into the status of the upcoming ED II decision. Previous ED and RD candidates stated that they had an Emory e-mail address, financial aid info and other new links.

So far, the status quo here.

I think ED II ers should start checking OPUS on Monday or Tuesday.

I haven't noticed any big changes yet...my gpa is relatively low for Emory though, so there's a very good chance that I'll be denied admission......a couple weeks ago however, I noticed couple new links

one was under the finances section to make an Emory Card Deposit

1 for campus event registration and 2 for scheduling an april senior tour/info session

also, I have all those things like view my transcript, etc...but they're not clickable or blue yet- I'm assuming that everyone has these in black and it only means something if they turn blue and become clickable, right?

I looked at old posts and it seems that such changes may first start to show on OPUS the day they mailed out the letters or for ED II 2/1.

Guess we need to check OPUS daily.

OPUS updated my To Do List

They finally updated my OPUS on Wednesday.

Any guess as to when OPUS may show "positive" changes on the website?

I say that they will start on Friday.

OK, less than 2 hoursuntil 2/15 and all is quiet on OPUS, maybe tomorrow night?

does OPUS show whether we're accepted/rejected?

no it does not give you a decision

Dear All,

Greetings from an Ed1 Accepted Applicant. Let me just say that although I'm more than thrilled about going to Emory, they are not the most "informative" people regarding your status. Basically, most people found their fate using the "Learnlink" way prior to receiving their letters. Basically, go to this website, http://www.learnlink.emory.edu/login/. I'm not sure if you've been denied or not if they will let you login. In my situation, my friend searched my name under the directory and it thankfull came up, which indicated that I had been accepted. So in case Learnlink automatically lets any applicant login using their id/password (ID capatilized), go to the directory. If you're in, your name will come up with a Connnect 2010. If it does not it will say not found in system. Good luck to everyone and I hope to see you in the Dirty Dirty in '06. Peace

Thanks Heugut. I also read that several links appeared in OPUS providing permamant e-mail and password, an active pay enroll, ment deposit, etc.

Would an acceptedstudent be in the Emory Online Directory or just learnlink.

Accepted students, even having their deposits processed, dont show up on the website directory. THeres a directory thing for learnlink that shows ur name. Honestly man, im sure theyve posted their decisions by now. Id check if i were u. If its not working, id be more than happy to look for u. Peace man. Lemme kno wat happens

I checked learnlink but my temp ID and password didn"t work yet. Thanks for the offer but I think for now I will wait for tomorrow.

Didn't work for me either.

Good luck to all of you! and Heugut, you're going to have a great time! My son is an Emory junior, and he just loves it there. If he had his way, he would never graduate!

OMG I was talking to my CC, who seems kind of "in" with the admissions team at Emory, and he told me that he already knows my decision..but wont tell me! This suspense is killing me.

my guess is that he has good news, or he would not have mentioned it to you at all. I hope I'm right!

wow, me too!

How do I find out if i'm in or not ? Is there a way for me to find out online? I dont understand that learnlink thing. what ID would i use? PLEASE HELP. i'm going crazy!
