OPUS Changes

From another ED1 Accepted Applicant:

Another, though similar, test is to log-in to https://classes.emory.edu/webapps/login . When you log in, your user ID needs to be in CAPS or else it will not work (password should not be in CAPS). Once you do this, click Verify Personal Info then Edit Personal Information. If you see a yourname.emory.edu e-mail address you are in! Good luck every1.

jkh411,

where do we get this ID and password from? is it our OPUS stuff?

same User ID and password as OPUS

it says there was an error while signing in... like in red, it says it doesn't work. so is that basically rejection?

There is absolutely no telling...it may still take the Tech guys at Emory a few more days to update the system... this method only confirms acceptance (it can not imply rejection). But wait until other ED II kids post here and don't assume anything negative yet.

sigh k thanks :)

I got the same thing.

do we just have to wait for the decision in the mail? REPLY ASAP

Perhaps in the next 24 -48 hrs OPUS changes will appear, if not; stalk the mailman.

Maybe they figured out the previous gliches providing an early glimpse at a decision. My OPUS is also quiet.

still nothing for me

Some new links appeared on my OPUS but I believe they are generic changes since they are in black text and non-clickabe. I assume all accounts have this update and eventually those of us who are fortunate enough to be accepted will have access to active forms of these links.

Changes noted this morning:

Under Academics; Academic Record and Enrollment have new inactive links.
Under Finances; View my financial aid, another inactive link appeared.

No e-mail changes or PAY enrollment fee changes yet.

Anyone else notice similar changes?

I have gotten the same changes, but no available links
Good Sign or Bad sign?

Anyone NOT get these changes

Gosh im nervous

PZ

Just letting you know that the letter is most likely NOT going to be postmarked by teh 1st. For ED1 it was postmarked the 19th when they said it was gonna be mailed out the 15th. Subsequently it took about a week to get here. So, a way to find out as some1 else posted is to go to:

classes.emory.edu or http://www.learnlink.emory.edu/login/

and if ur able to successfully log in using ur OPUS name (caps) and password then i think ur good to go.

Heugut,
We are unable to log onto any other Emory sites until we receive the password. It is my understanding that our current OPUS password is temporary and is for applicant status only.

Any idea when/if we should receive the permananet password?

The OPUS user ID and the OPUS password are all you will ever need, for any Emory website. Your OPUS password is used on both classes.emory.edu or http://www.learnlink.emory.edu/login/ ... again remember... User ID = CAPS ; Password = lower case

... if you tell me your name I will check the Learnlink Directory for you... which may be updated by this point...

On OPUS, Learner Services; EU Sign On, the following message is still present:

Please Login with your Network ID
You have logged in using your temporary Applicant ID: XXXXXX
Instead, please log in using your Network ID:
and the corresponding Password.
The Applicant ID that you were given when you first applied was only temporary and has limited access to student services. Now that you have a permanent Network ID, please use this Network ID when logging on to OPUS. This will enable you to take full advantage of the student services offered.

have you tried https://classes.emory.edu/webapps/login ?

yes, just tried with no luck. Hopefully, they haven't loaded the info on the sites yet or I am in trouble.
On the positive, no one has yet received these signs of hope.
There's always tomorrow.

agreed (asdfgh)
