orange juice + shaving cream = ?

i had to make an irrelevant thread title to get your attention.

for the past few days, i've been at the library for at least 4-6 hours. contrary to popular belief, it's actually pretty fun. i'm always in the "quiet room" of my library basement, where the door is shut and only a few people are allowed in (but out of the 4 people that were in it, i was making the most noise..go figure lol). and the computer's are fast and up to date, and my library has a huuuge variety of books (its 3 stories counting the basement)

then, since my library is near the town center, i can go anywhere to eat!

SPEAKING of which, i had a foot long subway sandwhich for only $5!!! great deal, honestly, but 12 inches is too much for me...

yay, you all should try living at the library. it's not as nerdy or grindish as you'd think

I would love to do that, except my parents would probably think I'm psychotic.

^ my mom too, but i dont care. she always i should study at home (since i'm studying for SAT's) and that i'm wasting gas/time/money/energy by going to the library, but it's a good studying tip to study anywhere BUT your house

lol, so i adhere to that (:

I have always been repulsed to the library for some reason. I love learning and everything, I just hate libraries. But I actually went last Saturday and found it to be pretty cool, especially since it was rebuilt last year so now everything is brand new. It's more than just a boring building with books, the facilities are great -- and free! I might go back a few more times this summer.

(to techno) your right! they are free! the bathrooms are clean in mine too (lol just a pointer), it's so quiet and the whole environment is clean. i didn't know libraries could be this nice loll

"...12 inches is too much for me..."

That's what she said.

^ awkward

like i said invoyable (if you read further lol), i took breaks...so it wasn't as serious and dull as one would assume :P

Yes, I'm very sure you had much fun getting high off Pokemon graphic novels during break. Library break, the best joy in the world...

Glorious, really.

^ no, it involved just going on CC or reading the newspaper

and your sarcasm sounds like a very twisted form of liist's sarcasm...lol

You know you spend too much time on CC when...

...you can distinguish between the sarcasms of online people you've never met in person.

hehehehehhehehehehehehehehhee.. ... . . . .. . . . . ..

"...12 inches is too much for me..."

"That's what she said."

no girl would say that. they would gladly accept it.

i find it easier to concentrate at the library...so i bring projects and homework there occasionally....minus the laptop.

^ or maybe it comes with increasing your reading comprehension for the critical reading section on the SAT LOL

Invoyable's tone in lines 1-2 are best noted as:

A.) Serious commentary with critical undertones
B.) Humor with optimistic streaks
C.) Satirical overtones with extended mockery
D.) Critical judgment with deepening insights
E.) Relaxing tones with an effect of colloquialism

Haha, nice one asian sensation. :)

How about no?

My local public library is trash. And it's only open for about 6 hours a day, and only during the week.

It (and all of the books in it) were destroyed in 2005, and there's still a FEMA trailer dedicated to trying to fix it up, 3 years later.
Even if it was fixed up, I still wouldn't go. I can always walk onto a local private uni's campus and go to the library there if I really wanted to (which I don't want to).

^ my library used to suck, then they did MAJOR renovations by raising town taxes, hahah

but i think it pays off, so many people are starting to come now..

At my school, people live in the library. One time I saw this dude brushing his teeth in the library bathroom.

"and your sarcasm sounds like a very twisted form of liist's sarcasm...lol"

Hey!

I get my own little office in my mother's workplace since I know the boss. There are lots of stores and restaurants around me so I can stock up on all the junk food and meals I need.
