order of questions

on any SAT math test, have any of you tried answering the questions in reverse order (i.e., hardest first)? How has that worked out for you?

i haven't tried that but it doesn't smart like a smart strategy at all considering that easy questions are worth just as many points as hard questions. I think my strategy revolved largely around reading the question starting it and then deciding how quickly I could find an answer for it. If I began to work on one problem for over 30 seconds I would determine if I would be able to determine the answer quickly or not and if not just skip it and move on... you just have to manage your time effectively and you should do fairly well on the math portion...

I asked my very experienced AP teacher that and he said this: "Make hay while the sun shines." Basically, all the questions are weighted the same. The test is timed, so get the points for the easy questions at the beginning of the section first! It makes sense.
