<p>Does Yale (or really any other college) mind if things arrive in the wrong order? For example, I have already sent two transcripts, test scores, and recommendations, but will not submit the actual application until today. Will they figure this out? This seems like such a simple question but I really have no idea.</p>
<p>Also, do I call and confirm whether or not they've received all of my materials, or do they send me something notifying me of missing stuff?</p>
<p>I am kinda wondering about the same thing, but what my counselor told me was that the moment they get ANYTHING... and I mean ANYTHING from you, they will immediately open up a file for you. However, they will not look at your file until EVERYTHING has been sent except for SATs and such that have been taken in Oct or early Nov since their scores obviously need to be processed. So as long as everything is sent in time, postmarked correctly, etc. you'll be alright. In November they will contact you about anything that you are missing and you need to have the missing bits postmarked asap as soon as Yale notifies you...</p>

<p>I think IBRedGirl is right. But I think that if you send everything all at once, there is a lesser chance of them losing anything. Something to keep in mind. I plan on sending everything in one package.</p>
<p>Thanks for the confirmation lionofjudah89. One little thing to add - if you're sending the common app and supplement online, you gotta send in both at the same time. It's Yale Policy, ditto for Harvard and Princeton. And if you're applying online, don't print out your online bits-n-pieces and mail them "just in case". Yale doesn't look very fondly upon that.</p>
