So I ordered something from half.com about 15 days ago, and it's still not here. I ordered all my books to my home address just to make sure nothing gets lost, and am going to mail them to my berkeley address tomorrow.

But it's going by media mail, so it'll take a while.

If I happen to not have it by the time school starts, which library should I go to in order to read it? Is it possible to borrow the book so I can take it home, or will I have to use it only in the library?

thanks :D

you can always borrow from a friend - i don’t know if you know anyone taking the course, but that’s what i’ve been doing. the professor might also have a copy you could borrow. i’m not sure about the library…maybe if it’s a pretty common book it will be in one of them - you can look in the online catalog.
i ordered something from there a week ago and i’m still waiting…hopefully there aren’t any issues. you can always contact the seller too and see what’s going on.

You likely won’t need the book right away. If you do, you can buy it from the bookstore and return it later.
