Ordering ACT writing scores only

My d. took the ACT for the first time as practice, and always planned on taking it again. She scored fine the first time, but still wants to try it again to see if she can do better. However she scored great on the writing portion, and would love to stop there!

I know you can take the optional writing test with the standard ACT, and you can take the standard ACT without the writing portion, but you cannot take the writing portion alone. I also know you cannot mix and match the separate sections of the standard ACT. It was not clear to me, however, how the writing score is treated. Can it be sent to schools separately?

Being able to choose exactly which score to send is a nice advantage of the ACT. IF she takes the standard ACT only at second sitting (without writing), and does better than the first time, can she still send the writing scores (only) from the first sitting, but the standard scores from the second sitting? OR will it be required to send both scores? (for double the fees of course).
