<p>How does this work? Say if I wanted to order books and they are delivered when no one is in the room. Will they just leave it outside the room or with the front desk for me to pick it up? I know there is a mailbox for USPS but what about UPS or Fedex?</p>
<p>UPS and Fedex will leave the box right at your door.</p>
<p>What really, then anyone on the floor would just be able to take it without you knowing.</p>
<p>Usually, if nobody is home, the delivery employee will leave the package with your next door neighbor, and tack an official slip on your door notifying you that one of your neighbors has it (in which, you will go fetch it from them). </p>
<p>That’s what at least UPS and FedEx did in the two years I lived in the dorms.</p>
