Oregon State brand new Computer Science degree?

What do you guys think of Oregon States brand new Computer Science degree thats fully online through Oregon State University’s School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science?

Im in the military looking to get a degree in Computer Science and came across Oregon States new program. If not, does anyone have any advice on another online college for CS?

hi! i’m also looking into online computer science degrees. happy to help with what i’ve learned.

first, OSU is a brick and mortar school. That’s good…you don’t want to attend a school that is completely online.

also, OSU is accredited by the ABET, for their on campus CS program. that’s also a good sign.

lastly, OSU is a state school, not a for-profit school. This also makes it a good choice.

Other schools I’m considering are UIS and Regis.

Oregon State has a good Computer Science program, and they came up with an accelerated program recently for those who have past undergraduate Bachelors degree to get a second degree in two years. If you are in the military, and traveling on postings, online learning is your best bet. Penn State World Campus, also has a good Computer Science program also…
