I e-mailed OSU a few weeks ago asking about their Early Action Program for entering PharmD students.

They have a direct-entry program wherein you can apply straight out of high school for their Pharmacy program and be guaranteed a seat in the pharmacy school as long as you keep your grades up and you complete the prerequisites in a timely manner.

The catch is that you have to attend once admitted to the program. I'm not sure if you can get out of it. Is there a way to get out of this binding agreement if not enough aid is offered?

I really liked OSU because it was still in the West Coast (I live in Las Vegas, NV) and it had a direct-entry program. But unlike other direct-entry pharmacy schools, their program takes 7 years, instead of the usual 6.

Should I apply for their program even if it means not getting a chance into other direct-entry pharmacy schools (all the others are in the east coast).

Is it worth it?
