Oregon U EA program

So I looked up OU's Early Action progrm and it said non restrictive. Does it hurt you if you apply to Oregon early admission wise? Can you still apply for financial Aid (17K per). Oregon is 2nd on my list behind SDSU. I know you have to go if accepted but there is a loophole and that sif you tell them you cant afford it. So, would it benefit me if I applied to Oregon University early?

Also, do we get thrown into the spring applications if we are rejected. I know my counselor said that happens with a lot of schools in this program.

if you have above a 3.5 i am 99% sure you won't get rejected and before you go there make sure you know it is The University of Oregon and not Oregon University..no idea about EA sorry.

If UOregon is EA, it's not binding. You don't HAVE to attend if accepted, no matter what your finance situation is. You just get in early. If it is ED, then it is binding. But you said EA, so nobody will force you to go there if you're accepted. Unless it really is ED and you just read it wrong.

UO is rolling. I think you have to apply early for scholarship consideration.

U of O, as most Oregonians call it, does not have an EA or ED program. What they do have is what they call an "Early Notification Program", where you apply by 01 November and receive an early acceptance.

"respect" i am an Oregonian and i call it U of O

Really, ED is the only one? Is there any benefits to applying early other than getting an early decision? If you have 3.25 GPA or higher than u automatically get accepted. Unfortunately. I jave a 2.5 GPA with a 1260 SAT so far. So the school is a reach, they accept 88% of their students, I wonder how many of them are accepted in the ED. And what does rolling mean?

Rolling Admissions means that they process your application and make a decision as applications come in. In other words, they don't wait until a specific date (like April 1) to release admission status. At the rolling admissions schools I applied to, I heard back from them within a month.

Call it U of O and you'll sound just like a native Oregonian :-)

The 2.5 is pretty low. The 1260 is your m+v score, right? Are you in state?

Apply early. I think you'll get in.
