organic chem or bio next year

So I am premed and will be a sophomore next year. I have done all of the premed courses, except organic chem and bio (and their respective labs). I am not sure what to take next year, some people say that i should take bio next year and orgo junior year because it is better have taken bio early on. Others say orgo next yr and bio junior yr because knowing orgo helps you with some bio. I am planning on taking the mcats by the end of junior year...

any suggestions on what I should take? or does it even really matter?

I would say bio b/c from everyone with whom I have spoken to, there are very few orgo questions on the exam. Plus getting a head start on bio may allow you to take 1 or 2 extra classes in it, if you would like. I would give more priority to bio personally.

I am taking both next year as a sophomore (along with physics too). I'd just like to get it over with. It will take a lot of work, but having them both down before I begin studying for the MCAT will be very helpful I believe.

Orgo won't really help you enough with bio for it to make any difference. The only thing orgo allowed me to do in bio classes was say things like "oh, cool, that steroid molecule is a polycyclic aromatic compound... great, so what?" In other words, it never helped on tests or anything.

I don't think it really matters as long as you take both of them before you take the MCAT. See the following threads for more info:
