Organic Chem

<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>I have taken AP Chemistry this year (senior) and I wanted to study Organic Chemistry this summer. I have heard how notorious and difficult O.Chem is and I wanted to get a head start on the subject. I was planning to either buy an O.Chem book or a CD so I can try to teach it to myself. Is this a wise decision and is it possible?</p>

<p>Hmm, I think it could be possible, though as for the wisdom of that venture, I am not sure. I took organic chem this semester, and tbh, it wasn’t that hard. Once you get the concepts down, it’s pretty much understandable. I mainly self studied for the module since I didn’t understand the teacher much, and I got an A+ overall, so it’s rather possible.</p>

<p>may I ask which book you used?</p>

<p>Mainly, I read the notes I had from the module, but I did refer to Organic Chemistry by John Mcmurry. (:</p>
