Organizations like HOSA for Engineering?

<p>Hi CC'ers,</p>

<p>My friends and I are considering starting a Science Club next year, particularly one geared towards physics/ chemistry and engineering since there already exists a Biology-affiliated “Future Doctors of America” club associated with HOSA.</p>

<p>Does anyone know of an organization equivalent to HOSA for a more general Science Club, particularly one that offers competitions, activism opportunities and a general model for student involvement?</p>

<p>As a related question, aside from the Science Bowl and Science Olympiad, are there any other team based science competitions (not science fairs like Siemmens, and ISEF, but rather tournament style competitions)?</p>

<p>Bumping, I’ve found the HOSA bowl and NOSB, which both seem like interesting competitions.</p>
