Organizing the Common App Activities Section?

<p>Hey, just wondering how did everyone organize the common app extracurricular section?
Am I supposed to sort it my activity-type, or list specific activities regardless of type (even if they are not long-term commitments, such as volunteering as a camp counselor)?
What about activities that I used to do and were significant / hope to continue in college, but don't do anymore because I switched schools?</p>
