Organizing

How do you organize for school? Do you use one big binder or separate notebooks for each class? What are your methods for keeping everything together?

Separate spiral notebooks, one folder.

I stay away from binders.

I use one docket folder for everything, though sometimes I put some 2-pocket folders inside of it in case I need to pull one out for a specific class. I don't use binders because everything always rips out of them, and they're bulky. And don't get me started on those huge trapper keeper things.

~1 folder per class + 1 folder with a few sheets of looseleaf and graph paper (like ~7 loose, ~3 graph). I empty my folders of all trash perhaps once per week and put stuff I might want to save away in a cabinet at home.

I don't really take notes or anything, so I never have much to carry.

Separate binder, separate notebooks and dividers in each binder. I'm so anal.

ME TOO! And some classes have notebooks, too.

English! Keep it in my locker though. Then write on looseleaf and copy it over if I need to.

honestly, you should do what feels natural...that's the best advice if you're looking to reorganize...

what i do: one 1 in binder with all my 7 subjects & one folder with 7-10 dividers...after an "unit" is finished for a class, and I've typed up my incredibly messy notes, I put in a separate "subject term" binder that comes in handy for midterms/finals. it sounds crazy, but it really helps. plus much lighter!

I don't know yet. I'm still trying to find my style. The past 3 or 4 methods didn't work for me.

haha I just keep everything in one two-pocket folder(morning classes on the left, afternoon classes on the right), can't really find much(it got too big)...studying for finals was hard..but not that I needed to...but I don't reccomend it...i had to replace folders like twice a week...sheesh

Organizing is for noobs. Just stuff all your junk in your backpack.

No questions asked.

I know that I'm a huge nerd, but I'm so unorganized I just computerize everything with a scanner, or I type it in.

I mostly do a lot of virtual school for the summer and I love it compared to traditional school.

one 3 inch folder for all my subjects, no dividers (i've gotten points marked off for this), just some papers and randomly put in assignments in pockets.

I'm so lazy.

FLVS?

Lmao, theres so much BS involved into that, I don't feel like reasoning it now.

throw everything in my backpack

FLVS is sure better than my piece of **** school.

Liist, have you ever attempted to type your tests/assignments in google, or any type of search engine? -___-

Btw, I believe you could open up two windows, one for notes, the other for the test page.

1 folder for each class. and i wonder why they dont even resemble folders by the end of the year...

Just because you computerize everything doesn't mean it gets automatically uploaded to the internet...

If the class gives a lot of sheets and handouts, or I need to keep all my homework (which is like, all classes), I use a 1.5" binder (this past year I did one for each semester per class, and each quarter for Bio) with a little bit of loose leaf paper, a notebook, and one of those dividers for binders that have folders. I three-hole punch all the papers I get and put them in. =] I'll divide the papers up by chapter, section, etc. I really did that for all of my classes this year, and it worked well for me.

Honestly, I planned to keep the same plan for college, but I'm not sure how that'll work out. =P
