<p>Hi All- Jeff from Admission here. Wanted to let you all know about a great hotel that our visitors love. Its called the International House and its located in the Central Business District. Its right off the streetcar line, so it wont take you but 20 minutes to get to Tulane (and its the prettiest drive arguably in the country!). its also within walking distance of the French Quarter, but not smack in the middle of it all, so you avoid all the throngs of tourists. The hotel is totally locally owned and operated and everything in there, from the furniture to the artwork, is local. Its the largest boutique hotel in the city but its not one of those massive chain hotels. Also, they have a great discounted Tulane rate; just give them a call and make sure to mention the Tulane Admission rate.
