Now that he is accepted for Fall of 2018 and deposit has been received by the school we want to register for housing and orientation. We are having difficulty with the on line process accepting the information. Has anyone else been able to register for housing yet?

I would guess it isn’t open yet. We registered my daughter as soon as we could, and that was because she wanted HoPoCo and it was being built that year (2016). I believe it was mid to late January when it opened.
I’m also thinking that a lot of people are waiting to find out things like honors acceptance, and also acceptance to the other schools they applied to. I know we’re not making any final decisions until we know all of our options, which, unfortunately, probably won’t be until April 1st. I hope that doesn’t mean we’ll have a hard time getting HoPoCo form if he goes to Rowan (which is the most likely choice for him)
Rowan doesn’t let you select which dorm you get. There is one question which asks if cost is very important (HoPoCo is most expensive). But that’s it. I don’t think when you submit really matters because you don’t find out until August.
@NJWrestlingmom You do get to list which dorms you are most interested in, at least in 2016 you did. I don’t know what influence that has on the decision. There were also certain floors which were restricted to people in that category - such as the Honors floor in HoPoCo, which used to be the Honors Floor in Evergreen 
@NJRoadie last year we didn’t get any list. There was just a questionnaire we filled out, more geared to roommate selection and the only question that seemed to remotely address dorms was the cost question. My son got Magnolia even though we said cost wasn’t the #1 concern. He didn’t want HoPoCo so it was fine anyway. Do you know how hard it is for sophomores to get their housing selection? We’re hoping for a townhouse but i’m guessing all the newer apartments go fast.
My son found his roommate on the Rowan Class of 2021 Facebook page. New admits should look for the Class of 2022 in a month or 2-lots of kids posted there and started making connections. My son and his roommate have been a great match
