hi i know people with last names A-M move in on september 3rd
but i’m going to go to the orientation in august which is from august 31-sept2 and i think its really inconveinient to go back home and come back to move in again.
do they let you move in earlier (like before august orientation) if that’s the orientation we are attending?
i’m going to be out of the country for the whole summer and so i need to start planning these things out before I leave.
does someone have an answer for me?

Don’t worry, you will move into your dorm on the 31st and stay there until classes start.

make sure you indicate on that studentlink form or whatever that you’ll be moving in on whatever day

how do i register for orientation

caique193, you need to call the Information Technology Help Desk at 617-353-4357 to set up a Google App account first, and then you’re able to register the orientation… I just did it.

So guys, I have a question too… I’m an International student, and I’m planing to go to the last session, which is from Aug. 31 to Sep.2., since I’m staying in China for the whole summer. So what are the disadvantages of attending the Late orientation instead of the earlier ones?? THANKS!!

During orientation you sign up for your classes which come on a first come, first serve basis. So by going to a later orientation date, some classes/times may be unavailable.
